Project Manager based in Portsmouth on an initial 12 month contract basis and is office-based.
Role Overview
- Ensure projects comply with Health and Safety regulations; the health and safety of all personnel engaged in a project shall be paramount.
- Build collaborative relationships with colleagues in other functions, utilising synergies and maximising re-use with other projects wherever appropriate.
- Manage all project information in accordance with the relevant Project Management Plan and the BMS.
Responsibilities
- Lead the multi-function project team to deliver OQOTOC.
- Build beneficial relationships with customers:
- Identify threats to customer satisfaction and initiate effective mitigation actions.
- Interface with internal & external Customers.
- Provide regular status reporting.
- Negotiate changes.
- Act to promote customer satisfaction.
- Develop the project plan:
- Create a project team environment that will promote success through proactive planning.
- Confirm requirements with the Customer to define scope.
- State the methods that shall be employed in the execution of the project, utilising standard Company processes and procedures.
- Define the work breakdown structure and agree work packages with the multi-function project team.
- Ensure a Risk Register is in place and that it is updated regularly.
- Minimise the dependency on schedule and financial contingencies with use of appropriate mitigation actions.
