Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of personal injury law, especially around road traffic accidents (RTA). Familiarise yourself with recent case law and any changes in legislation that could impact your role. This will show the interviewers that you're not just qualified, but genuinely passionate about the field.

✨Showcase Your Experience

Prepare to discuss specific cases you've managed, particularly those involving RTAs. Be ready to explain your approach to managing a volume caseload and how you build relationships with clients and colleagues. Use examples to illustrate your problem-solving skills and your ability to achieve results for clients.

✨Practice Your Courtroom Skills

Since representing clients in court is part of the job, it’s a good idea to practice discussing your courtroom experiences. Think about how you can convey your confidence and competence in this area. If you have any notable successes or challenges, be sure to highlight them during the interview.

✨Ask Insightful Questions

Interviews are a two-way street, so prepare some thoughtful questions about the firm and the team you'll be working with. Ask about their approach to mentoring junior solicitors or how they handle high-volume workloads. This shows that you're not only interested in the role but also in how you can contribute to the team's success.
