Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive strategic growth, investment decisions and overall business performance.
  • Drive robust financial challenge across risks, opportunities and business performance delivery, acting as a key commercial advisor to the executive team.
  • Leadership of the full financial cycle, including budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, monthly management accounts and executive performance reporting.
  • Weekly cashflow ownership, forecasting and control, ensuring liquidity, resilience and financial stability across the group.
  • Accountability for weekly finance cadence, including payment approvals, operational dashboards and resource planning oversight.
  • Lead pricing strategy, commercial modelling, bid support, contract negotiation and investment appraisal activity.
  • Maintain the integrity of the balance sheet, financial controls and governance across all entities.
  • Ownership of statutory reporting, audit processes, VAT submissions and wider regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Oversee CAPEX governance and financial evaluation of investment and growth initiatives.
  • Drive finance transformation, including ERP modernisation, systems development, process improvement and MI/BI enhancement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing international finance function with a strong focus on accountability, capability and commercial ownership.
  • Manage key external stakeholder relationships, including auditors, banking partners, insurers and professional advisors.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent) with proven senior finance leadership experience.
  • Strong track record driving profitability, commercial performance and cash flow within fast-paced, evolving businesses.

  • Strong capability across forecasting, planning, financial modelling and performance analysis.
