We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a dynamic, fast-growing business in Glasgow city centre to recruit a PA / Office Manager on a permanent, hybrid basis. This is a truly unique opportunity to work directly with a successful and visionary business leader who is entering an exciting phase of growth. It’s the first time he has appointed a PA, so this role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure and process to a busy professional environment.
The Role
As PA / Office Manager, you will become the right hand to the business leader, taking ownership of diary management, inbox management, task prioritisation and acting as a gatekeeper to ensure his time is spent effectively. You’ll also play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the office and support across various client and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full PA support including complex diary and email management, gatekeeping, arranging meetings and travel
- Monitoring and prioritising incoming tasks and communications
- Managing office facilities, liaising with landlords, utilities, suppliers and overseeing workspace needs
- Acting as first point of contact for visitors, clients and callers; professionally representing the business
- Supporting commercial and client projects with administrative coordination
- Handling confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism
- Assisting with business development tasks as required by the business leader
About You:
- You will be a career proven PA, EA or Office Manager - ideally supporting an entrepreneur or senior leader new to having a PA
- Exceptionally strong in email and diary management - calm, efficient and always one step ahead
- Proactive, confident and capable of acting as a gatekeeper to protect time and focus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where priorities shift
- Strong interpersonal skills and a confident communicator, both internally and externally
- Highly organised, trustworthy, and discreet
