Certain Advantage is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer based in the Filton area. This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.

The Company: We are working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.

The Role: This role is for an Aerospace R&T Manufacturing Engineer, someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You will be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You will be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

  • Development and delivery of an industrial plan for wing research.
  • Working with the jigs and tooling team, and component suppliers.
  • Generation and validation of manufacturing capability documentation.
  • Working across the design and manufacturing.

The Individual: We are looking for people who can show:

  • Manufacturing engineering or production environment and familiarity with production processes.
  • Aerospace structures (understanding the key structural components and manufacturing techniques associated with aircraft wings).
  • CAD tools, specifically CATIA V5.
