The Company
We’re working with a public-sector focused organisation undergoing a period of transformation, including the implementation of a newly developed contract management system. This is a key support role within the contract management function, offering the opportunity to play a hands-on part in improving governance, compliance, and data quality across the organisation.
The Role
This role is for a detail-driven Contracts Manager who is comfortable working with limited direction and ready to make an immediate impact. You’ll support the management, capture, and maintenance of contract information within a new contract management system and will be responsible for:
- Capturing and inputting accurate contract data into the contract management system
- Ensuring compliance with local contract management policies and procedures
- Supporting best practice in contract management, with awareness of the Procurement Act 2023
- Maintaining and updating the local contract register to reflect awarded contracts
- Recording and publishing notices on Contract Finder and Find a Tender Service
- Supporting colleagues with the use and understanding of contract management systems

- Proven experience in contract management or a closely related role
- Strong understanding of contract management systems and processes
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of public sector procurement and compliance requirements
- High levels of attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills
