Certain Advantage is collaborating with a prominent aerospace company in search of an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. In this role, you will join the Test Centre and will contribute to the development of architectures and specifications for data acquisition and control systems for a new test facility and several new test benches focused on Hydrogen testing.
What you will be doing:
- Develop Architecture and design solutions for data acquisition and control systems
- Develop Electrical Component and electrical schematics
- Specify Instrumentation for a range of different measurements (Pressure, Flow, Voltage, Current, etc.)
- Produce requirement and specification documentation for data acquisition and control systems
Your background:
- Electrical Design Tools (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, KiCad)
- Understanding of Electrical design principles and Electrical systems
- Understanding of Testing principles
- Experience with electrical architecture design
- Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems
During an interview, we may ask you about:
- Knowledge of avionic data busses (A429, CAN, AFDX)
- Knowledge of avionic hardware interfaces (discretes, analogues)
