Quality Inspector Mansfield (on-site) £17.35 per hour + benefits Mon-Fri (37 hours). Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Quality Inspector to ensure that products, processes, and workmanship meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. The role is responsible for inspection, documentation, and supporting continuous improvement across operations.

What you would be doing:

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on products, components, and assemblies
  • Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards
  • Detect, document, and report any non-conformances
  • Assist with root cause investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Maintain precise inspection records and quality documentation
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address and resolve quality issues
  • Ensure inspection and measuring equipment is properly used and calibrated
  • Contribute to internal audits and ongoing continuous improvement activities

A few things you should know:

  • Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications
  • Solid knowledge of welding processes
  • Familiarity with, or certification in, PCN or CSWIP welding inspection
  • Understanding of inspection methods and quality control tools
  • Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving abilities
