You’ll take the technical lead on end-to-end PLM and CAD data migrations into Siemens Teamcenter — working across legacy systems, data mapping, script configuration, validation, and post-go-live support. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role within a high-performing engineering environment. You’ll be part of a long-term programme delivering critical solutions for a key defence client.
What You’ll Do:

- Analyse and interpret legacy PLM, ERP, and CAD data to define scope and migration strategy.
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to capture and document data mappings and transformation rules.
- Configure and optimise ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) scripts.
- Support test runs, go-live cutovers, and post-migration stabilisation.
- Conduct data profiling and cleansing, advising stakeholders on improvements.
- Produce clear technical documentation and status reporting throughout the migration process.
What You’ll Bring:
- Demonstrable years of experience in Teamcenter deployment and data migration.
- Proven track record leading metadata, CAD, and document migrations.
- Strong understanding of PLMXML and IPS Data Upload utilities.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica or Pentaho preferred).
- Ability to script or code using Teamcenter ITK libraries (advantageous).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel within the UK when required.
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of this project, you must be a Sole UK National and eligible for Security Clearance (SC).
