Our client, a well-established business in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to support their senior leadership team with a wide range of HR responsibilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, autonomous role and is eager to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while being a key point of contact for employees across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Support
Coordinate job adverts, screen CVs, and manage interview scheduling
Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
Liaising with recruitment agenciesOnboarding & Offboarding
Deliver seamless onboarding experiences for new hires
Organise exit interviews and manage offboarding documentation
Keep employee records up-to-date and compliantEmployee Relations
Be the go-to for employee HR queries and support
Assist in handling employee concerns and escalating when needed
Contribute to a positive workplace culture through engagement initiativesHR Administration & Compliance
Manage HR databases and prepare reports and documentation
Coordinate training and development opportunities
Ensure HR practices meet employment law and internal policies
Work closely with the company’s external HR partner on policy updates
What We’re Looking For:
Previous track record gained in an HR environment, ideally within manufacturing or industrial, but this is not essential
Strong communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
Self-starter who can manage their own workload and work effectively solo
The Package:
Salary: Up to £33,000 plus a performance-based bonus
Hours: 35-hour working week (early Friday finish)
Holidays: 35 days annual leave
