Job Title: Group HR Manager
Location: Central Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: Circa £65,000 per annum

Are you a senior HR professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit a Group HR Manager to lead and drive HR strategy and operations across a dynamic, geographically dispersed business unit.
This is a unique opportunity to join a progressive and commercially focused team where your input will shape people strategy, organisational culture, and leadership effectiveness across multiple countries.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Group HR, the Group HR Manager will provide high-impact, professional HR support to senior stakeholders, including the Managing Director and their leadership team. You will also lead a regional HR team, ensuring alignment between HR activity and broader business goals.
You’ll be a trusted advisor on people matters, from organisational design and change management to employee relations, performance, and talent development. Strong coaching skills and commercial acumen are key, along with the ability to influence across multiple levels and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business strategy into HR actions that drive growth and performance.
  • Lead regional HR initiatives covering employee relations, talent management, recruitment, reward, and succession planning.
  • Coach and develop managers to improve their people leadership capability.
  • Lead or support change management, organisational development, and internal communication initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support the delivery of efficient HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and administration. Knowledge of payroll is a strong advantage.
  • Build strong internal and external networks to ensure high service standards and alignment with HR best practices.

About You

  • You’re an experienced HR generalist with strong grounding in ER, recruitment, reward, and operational HR.
  • You bring a confident, proactive approach to influencing and advising senior leaders.
  • You have previous experience managing HR across international teams or regions.
  • Resilient, commercially savvy, and people-centric, you’re comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity.
  • You understand the importance of compliance, cultural awareness, and delivering results.
  • Experience with HR operations and payroll oversight will be a distinct advantage.
