Naval Nuclear Project Manager in South West, UK. Virtual interview Mon–Fri.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating, managing and scaling a large off-site engineering delivery function.

What will you be doing?

  • Take full ownership of end-to-end engineering support delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Lead and grow a large, multi-disciplinary on-site team in line with demand.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing a consistent on-site presence and fostering a professional, value-driven approach.
  • Support team expansion through recruitment, onboarding, and culture development to maintain cohesion.
  • Ensure all engineering data, records, and documentation are accurate, controlled, and aligned with client requirements.
  • Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities early, and act to maintain delivery against KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve information management.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities, scaling successful initiatives.
  • Deliver against financial targets, including utilisation, budget control, and margin improvement.

A couple of things you should know:

  • Experience leading engineering delivery, multi-disciplinary teams or large-scale technical services within highly-regulated environments.
  • Ability to manage large operational teams, KPIs, and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Understanding of engineering project lifecycle management and workflows.
  • Good background in risk and opportunity management, project accounting, work package management, resource and configuration management and scheduling.
