Electrical Engineer\\nOutside IR35 Ltd Rate \\nPlymouth (2 days’ on-site every week)\\n6-12 Month Contract\\n \\nCertain Advantage is working with an Engineering Company who is supporting facilities engineering and major infrastructure projects."\\n \\nOur client is looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer on an initial 6-12 month sub-contract in the Plymouth area. \\n\\nJob Description\\nThe Electrical Engineer will work collaboratively with the customer to support infrastructure and asset development at a major dockyard facility. \\nThis role may include but is not limited to: being the technical interface with the customer, ensuring that all electrical aspects of facility modifications, redesigns and new infrastructure are scoped, developed and delivered, to meet operational requirements, safety standards and compliance obligations, whilst working within a team of electrical engineers supporting various projects.\\n \\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nEngage directly with the customer to understand requirements and provide electrical engineering support.\\nScope, design and propose modifications to existing assets or new facilities based on customer needs and system limitations.\\nEngage in the full lifecycle development of electrical projects, from conceptual design through to implementation and maintenance.\\nAssess and approve technical documentation prior to customer submission, ensuring technical, regulatory and safety considerations have been addressed.\\nLiaise with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to align electrical designs with broader infrastructure projects.\\nSupport the planning and execution of installation, commissioning and testing phases as needed. \\nQualifications & Experience\\n\\nBachelor’s degree (minimum) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; Master’s degree or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred.\\nRelevant electrical engineering experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, oil and gas etc).\\nDesigning and modification of electrical systems (LV/HV systems, lighting, power distribution etc.)\\nStrong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and electrical standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).\\nAwareness of stress and structural integrity assessments. (Desirable)
