Overview
EC&I Designers (6-12 months)
Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our established Engineering client for a number of EC&I Designers on a contract basis to support important Nuclear projects in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the Integrated Design, facility and project teams and collaborate throughout the project lifecycle in all phases, offering expertise in EC&I design (electrical services design and CE&I instrumentation & Security systems design).
- Work in a team environment with strong communication to be an effective team player.
- Provide strong proficiency in AutoCAD and CE&I project delivery with experience covering:
- Building electrical services design (lighting, small power)
- Instrumentation and Security Systems design
- CDM and IET wiring regulations
- Space management and cable routing
Qualifications
- Suitable candidates are expected to hold a minimum ONC in a relevant discipline
- Experience in the following areas is highly desirable (please highlight in your CV):
- Radiometric Systems
- BS 61508 compliance
- Autodesk Revit, AVIVA, CIMAGE/DM Desktop
