The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced DCS Engineer to lead the maintenance and development of Yokogawa Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and other essential plant-wide control systems. You’ll play a key role in enhancing system performance, driving reliability, and supporting future upgrades and efficiency initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing, maintaining, and upgrading the Yokogawa DCS and other site-wide control systems
- Leading and delivering process and equipment upgrade projects
- Troubleshooting system issues and performing timely repairs
- Administering system access and ensuring logic control security
- Supporting auxiliary field systems such as turbine and emissions controls
- Keeping detailed records and backups of system modifications
- Collaborating with maintenance teams and contractors
- Evaluating and implementing system software updates
- Developing process monitoring tools to drive performance improvements
The Individual
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of control systems, especially Yokogawa Centum VP and Exaquantum
- Proficiency in PLCs, Siemens Simatic Step7, and industrial communication protocols
- Experience managing projects using Microsoft Project
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (ideally Q4) and proactive maintenance strategies
