With a strong track record in delivering reliable plant operations and process innovation, this organisation is looking for a skilled DCS Engineer to take ownership of their critical control systems.The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced DCS Engineer to lead the maintenance and development of Yokogawa Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and other essential plant-wide control systems. Youll play a key role in enhancing system performance, driving reliability, and supporting future upgrades and efficiency initiatives.Key responsibilities include:Managing, maintaining, and upgrading the Yokogawa DCS and other site-wide control systemsLeading and delivering process and equipment upgrade projectsTroubleshooting system issues and performing timely repairsAdministering system access and ensuring logic control securitySupporting auxiliary field systems such as turbine and emissions controlsKeeping detailed records and backups of system modificationsCollaborating with maintenance teams and contractorsEvaluating and implementing system software updatesDeveloping process monitoring tools to drive performance improvementsThe IndividualWere looking for candidates who can demonstrate:Strong knowledge of control systems, especially Yokogawa Centum VP and ExaquantumProficiency in PLCs , Siemens Simatic Step7 , and industrial communication protocolsExperience managing projects using Microsoft ProjectFamiliarity with CMMS systems (ideally Q4) and proactive maintenance strategiesBenefitsPension schemeLife insuranceDiscretionary bonus schemeOn-the-job training and progressionRecognition scheme25 days holiday, with the option to purchase more.Ready to lead impactful bids and shape the future of waste management?
