CNC Programmer / Machinist Certain Advantage is hiring for a CNC Programmer / Machinist based in Widnes . Salary: Competitive + overtime x1.5 + benefits Days The Company Were partnering with a leading engineering firm known for delivering high-quality, large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. This business is at the forefront of innovation, with a strong reputation for excellence in manufacturing and project delivery. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist to join a thriving, growth-focused engineering business. Working primarily on Hurco machines, youll play a vital role in producing high-quality components used in advanced manufacturing systems. Key responsibilities include: Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery with a focus on Hurco Predominantly milling (approx. 80%) with some turning responsibilities. Operating a Hurco XYZ mini mill . Using hand tools for minor assembly tasks. Diagnosing machine/tooling issues, including basic PLC fault identification. The Individual Were looking for candidates who can demonstrate: Solid experience in CNC programming and machining. Proficiency with Hurco machines this is essential. Strong skills in milling and some turning. Ability to interpret technical and engineering drawings. A proactive, problem-solving approach with attention to detail.
