Sheet Metal Worker (days) Widnes circa £16.27ph + overtime (x1.5) Contract to permanent role
Certain Advantage is partnering with an engineering business to recruit an experienced Sheet Metal Worker. You will support the manufacturing teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities:- Use of non-operator metal working machinery and welding equipment appropriate to each job.
- Check the materials issued for each job as specified in the production order and detailed in the works order.
- Do quality checks.
- Work as part of a team to deliver products on time.
- Work in line with H&S policies.
- Ability to read and work directly from drawings.
- Knowledge of general metalworking machines e.g. hydraulic metalworker, MAG drilling equipment, Pillar drill.
- Skills in manual propane cutting.
- Your experience in sheet metal work including light to medium fabrication.
