A CAD Technician is required for a permanent, site-based role in the Widnes area with a company specialising in sheet-metal fabrication and electrical enclosures.
The Role:
- Responsible for drawing packs for production and works orders.
- Decide on types of drawings for the job or project - 2D, 3D or other.
- Check customer requirements and technical questions (TQ’s).
- Design part profiles using software such as RADAN, subcon, punch or manual work.
- Oversee the production process.
The Individual:
- Experience in sheet metal/fabrication CAD.
- Relevant CAD software qualification.
- Ability to liaise with customers.
