As a valued member of the Manufacturing function, the Electrical Calibration Operator is responsible for the routine calibration, maintenance, and repair of both Special To Type Test Equipment (STTE) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment. This role ensures all test and measurement instruments are compliant with proprietary procedures and company standards to maintain operational traceability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and routine calibration, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of electrical test and measurement equipment (e.g., Power Supplies, Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and Function Generators).
  • Carry out in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation within the factory environment.
  • Ensure factory-specific and proprietary measuring equipment is maintained strictly in accordance with current departmental processes and manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Generate clear, accurate, and comprehensive calibration and maintenance records to ensure full audit traceability.
  • Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-level support to the wider Operations and Manufacturing functions.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience calibrating COTS and Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE).
