Certain Advantage are working on behalf of a Globally Automotive company. They are actively seeking a 3D Designer on a Sub-contract basis.
Position description
The role of 3d designer is creatively responsible translating the brand identity vision across physical objects, covering a broad range of aspects, including but not limited to, vehicle detail design, off vehicle EV infrastructure, furniture and equipment and collections and accessories.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate closely with multi disciplinary designers and vehicle designers to creatively translate brand design content into 3d solutions.
Create and implement 3dimensional design solutions across multiple physical objects that coherently support the brand vision and position.
Able to take rough concepts through detail development into tangible and feasible solutions
Stakeholder management across interdependent design functions.
Essential skills
Excellent 3d design experience gained in agency and corporate settings
Demonstrable experience of delivering design solutions across multiple product lines in a 3d context.
Sensitivity to form and function
Knowledge of production, manufacturing and material processes.
Strong proficiency in digital modelling software – alias, blender, rhino
Realtime rendering capability in keyshot or similar. xiskglj
Unreal engine experience preferable.
Strong stakeholder management skills
Be comfortable working across different cultures, geography and time zones
