Mechanical Design Engineer £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Widnes Our client provides services in design, manufacturing, management and full site installation to the automotive, construction and logistics sectors. Engineering and Fabrication into manufacturing and distribution environments They have the ability to design, manufacture and install a huge variety of steelwork structures, from simple light duty supporting compositions through to complex, heavy duty mezzanines and high capacity constructions. As a company, they manufacture and install the following: Platforms Structural Steelwork Mezzanine Floors Jigs & Fixtures (Small & Large) Facility Safety Barriers Bracketry Job details: Producing GAs (general assembly drawings) and fabrication drawings from building plans using 2D & 3D CAD software. Produce fabrication details methodically and accurately for the fabrication shop. Site survey of smaller jobs. Quantify the materials required for each project. Communicating with contractors, project managers, engineers, or other members of the team to discuss project details. Produce drawings to assist the installation of the final product. File paperwork relevant to our quality control plans.
