Certain Advantage are hiring for a Procurement Specialist based in Filton. This role is on an initial contract basis till June 2026 and is hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic aluminium (extrusions) suppliers and ensure alignment with company procurement strategy.
  • Deliver MFT projects on time, cost, and quality.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of the Aluminium ConBid process, including demand monitoring, allocation optimisation, and mitigation of contractual risks.
  • Support company-wide cost improvement programs and deployment of commodity strategies.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and development activities, ensuring contracts and systems are aligned.
  • Supervise Transfer of Work activities and manage supplier-related risks (financial, strategic, monopoly).

Individual Accountabilities

  • Manage MFT project planning, reporting, and financial adherence.
  • Develop and maintain key supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Conduct calls for tender, lead supplier selection processes, and negotiate contract terms.
  • Ensure supplier performance targets are defined and monitored (cost, quality, delivery).
