Immigration Specialist

Certain Advantage is hiring for an Immigration Specialist based in Filton on an initial 11-month contract

35 Hours Per Week
Rate: £46.82 Per hour Umbrella

The Role

  • Manage UK immigration processes for business travel and short-term assignments.
  • Liaise with external immigration providers and manage visa applications.
  • Coordinate A1 and Health Insurance Certificate requests.
  • Monitor visa expiry dates and manage renewals.
  • Provide immigration advice and support to HR, managers and employees.
  • Deliver immigration guidance and awareness sessions.
  • Manage immigration requirements for non-UK/non-Irish external hires.
  • Ensure compliance with Home Office sponsor licence obligations.
  • Manage provider invoices and contribute to immigration projects.
  • Monitor immigration legislation and ensure ongoing compliance.

The Individual

  • Strong experience or qualification in UK immigration (essential).
  • Employment/labour law qualification (desirable).
  • Experience working with external providers or government bodies.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to compliance, integrity and continuous improvement.
