We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time, term-time-only position, ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Support learning inside the classroom and through targeted interventions outside the classroom
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to plan and adapt lessons
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and planning
Requirements
- Previous experience working in an SEN setting is essential
- A good understanding of a range of special educational needs
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
