We are currently recruiting Inclusion Support Assistants to work in schools across Birmingham city centre primary schools and those in surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate, experienced individuals who are committed to supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities
- Supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Working with pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, and complex needs
- Assisting with learning, behaviour management, and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
- Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Previous SEN experience within a school or care setting is essential
- Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, and/or complex needs
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Childcare or Health and Social Care Qualification
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
