We are currently seeking strong, experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated team at a specialist school in Stourbridge. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with complex needs in a highly supportive and professional environment.

Pupils at the school range from Early Years through to post-16 (ages 3–19), and support is tailored to meet each individual’s educational, communication, sensory and personal care needs. All roles involve working closely with pupils who have special educational needs and additional learning needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom to help them access learning and reach their full potential. Responsibilities
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a range of severe and complex learning needs, including SLD, ASC and PMLD.
  • Support pupils with educational, communication, sensory and personal care needs.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ideal Candidate
  • Have previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
  • Be confident supporting pupils with complex needs, including SLD, PMLD and autism.
  • Demonstrate patience, resilience and a genuinely caring approach.
  • Be comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Be flexible, reliable and committed to making a positive impact.
