CERT Solutions are seeking an experienced, committed and qualified candidate who will be confident working with a pupil who has additional needs. For this role you will be working with a pupil in KS1 who has Autism (ASC) and ADHD. The role will require you to be confident in working in and out of the classroom. You will work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo putting together an educational plan for the pupil to ensure they are making academic progress. You must also be confident in reporting back to the pupil's parents at the end of the day giving details of any progress or challenges.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with autism or communication needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and calm approach
  • Previous experience as a TA, support worker, youth worker, or in a child-centred role
  • Commitment to helping children grow in confidence and independence

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism
  • Relevant TA qualification is beneficial but not essential
