We are seeking a confident and adaptable Special Educational Needs Teacher to provide supply cover across various special schools in Sandwell.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking to step back from the full-time class teacher role while continuing to make a meaningful difference in young people's lives.

  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons to pre-16 pupils with additional needs
  • Provide consistent, calm and confident classroom leadership
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual EHCP targets
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider SEN team

What You Will Be Doing

  • Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Delivering small group or one to one catch up sessions
  • Supporting pupils according to their individual needs
  • Working with the class teacher to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons

Essential Requirements

  • Recent and relevant experience in an education setting
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confident managing complex behaviour positively and effectively
  • Suitable for ECT's
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the classroom teacher
  • All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
