The Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, diagnostic, and repair work to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and routine maintenance of cars and light commercial vehicles
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out engine and mechanical repairs
- Conducting MOT testing (or preparing vehicles for MOT)
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers when required
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or above
- Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable (Not Essential): Welsh language skills
