The Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, diagnostic, and repair work to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and routine maintenance of cars and light commercial vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out engine and mechanical repairs
  • Conducting MOT testing (or preparing vehicles for MOT)
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers when required

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or above
  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable (Not Essential):

  • Welsh language skills
