We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to lead an Asset Design team under the general direction of the Asset and Design Manager. The successful applicant shall coordinate the workload of the team and provide expertise for the Service in the field of Civil Engineering and Asset Maintenance.
The successful applicant shall have a relevant Degree and/or be an Incorporated member with a relevant professional institution and have demonstrable evidence of relevant experience in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design.
The successful applicant shall have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Civil Engineering Design processes or have demonstrable evidence of experience in the management and financial control of large (up to £2M) and small construction schemes.
In addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment.
