Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic officer, to join our ICT Support Team, to support schools and corporate staff. The post holder will be based, and work mainly from Penmorfa, Aberaeron, as well as other county buildings as needed. The post holder will provide telephone and remote support for ICT systems, as well as supporting and coordinating IT staff.
Responsibilities
- Our service has a range of responsibilities from providing advice and support to the residents of Ceredigion to providing corporate support via our ICT, reception and mailroom teams.
- Support and develop ICT systems and assist with day-to-day ICT operations.
Qualifications and skills
- Previous experience of ICT support and a good understanding of networks and IT systems would be desired; however, full training and support will be provided.
- The successful applicant must be polite, approachable, with good logical and creative skills, to support and develop systems.
- The ability to communicate effectively through the medium of Welsh and English is essential.
