Aberaeron Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom and beyond.

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide support to pupils, including those with additional needs, helping them access learning and build confidence.
  • Work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
  • Support the development of Individual Education and Behaviour Plans.
  • Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
  • Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and wider school activities.

Requirements:

  • Is fluent in both Welsh and English
  • Has experience of working with or caring for children.
  • Holds relevant qualifications (NVQ 3 or equivalent) and good literacy/numeracy skills.
  • Can use ICT effectively to support learning.
  • Is positive, flexible, and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding, inclusion, and teamwork.
