We are looking for a driven individual to join the Assets team in the Council's Economy and Regeneration Service. The Assets team aims to maximise the use of the Council's physical assets (land and buildings) aligned with the Corporate goals and for the benefit of the people and economy of Ceredigion.
The Project Development Manager – Land Use will be a key role in developing opportunities for effective use of land and assets through short term and meanwhile uses in order to drive income and enable our places in Ceredigion to be vibrant and interesting. This will be achieved by:
- The development of concepts, seeking external funding opportunities, stakeholder engagement, and the development of business cases to maximise the use of land and assets controlled by the Council for income generation and for the benefit of the economy of Ceredigion.
- Working with town councils and other stakeholders involved in place planning across Ceredigion to identify and develop new opportunities that support the development of our places.
- Using key communication, negotiation and influencing skills to work with a range of colleagues internally and with external organisations to bring forward deliverable projects.
The role will work with senior colleagues across the organisation to help deliver corporate objectives, reinforcing Ceredigion as a great place to live, work, invest in and visit. We want your expertise and innovation to be at the forefront of taking this important area of work forward.
We're looking for someone with excellent project management experience, who has creative ideas and the drive and energy to see projects through. We are looking for great communicators who can represent the council and work with partners, stakeholders, government and its agencies to support appropriate development and regeneration within the County.
