The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to support one of our major NHS clients as they implement a Trust-wide EPR (Electronic Patient Record) transformation programme. This role is central to ensuring that clinical, operational, and digital workstreams are aligned, resourced, and delivered to time and budget. You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders across clinical, technical, and supplier domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of programme governance, delivery plans, and risk/issue management
- Manage interdependencies across EPR workstreams including Change, Training, Testing, Build, Cutover, and Clinical Engagement
- Own reporting to Trust Boards, Digital Committees, and external stakeholders
- Maintain alignment with the Trust’s strategic objectives and wider ICB initiatives
- Coordinate with suppliers and delivery partners to ensure contract milestones are achieved
- Provide leadership and support to a team of project managers, analysts, and subject matter experts
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering large-scale NHS digital programmes (ideally EPR, PAS, or clinical system rollouts)
- Strong understanding of PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile project management methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across clinical and technical audiences
- Familiarity with NHS governance frameworks and assurance processes
- Previous experience working with EPR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or Nervecentre is desirable
