Job Summary
Within the Silicon verification team, the silicon verification engineer is responsible for verification activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality silicon. This role involves planning, specification, test generation, failure diagnosis, and contributing to verification infrastructure to support the silicon design process.
The Team
The verification team is part of the Silicon design group, responsible for verifying that the RTL matches the architecture specifications for Graphcore\’s silicon products.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform verification activities within the team
- Develop verification plans, specifications, and ensure functional coverage
- Provide feedback to architecture teams
- Generate tests and diagnose failures
- Contribute to shared verification infrastructure
Candidate Profile
- Verification experience in relevant industry roles
- Proven leadership and planning skills
- Motivated, self-starting, and collaborative
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across teams and languages
- Experience with verification in CPU and/or ASIC environments
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog, Python, C++, Linux, UVM, SVA, Assembly, LLVM, GCC, Git, SGE or other DRS
- Familiarity with XML, XPath/XSLT
