Position Snapshot HR Business Partner Business Unit: Nestlé – Cereal Partners Location: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid working 2-3 days in office) Salary up to £45,000 + potential bonus + fantastic benefits inc pension/ 25 days holiday + additional 12 days flex days, flexible working. Position Summary We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our small but friendly Cereal Partners HR team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for you to provide an effective business partnering service that ensures our people priorities contribute to the success and growth of our business. A day in the life of HRBP… This is not your average HR role. This is a hands-on HR position in which you’ll have the flexibility and autonomy to make a difference, working with the Head of HR and wider HR team, to deliver a People Plan that contributes to the success of our business, and ensures that CPUK is a great place to work, with an inclusive culture where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. In addition to the more usual HR Business Partner duties, we’re looking for someone who will bring our culture to life through a range of activities throughout the year. You’ll be : Based in Welwyn Garden City with occasional travel to other sites (including R&D in York) A key member of the HR team, delivering the CPUK people plan focussed on business goals A trusted advisor, providing professional HR advice & support to managers and employees. Responsible for coordinating performance, talent & succession processes Ensuring compliance with UK Legislation and CPUK’s policies and procedures Using reporting tools and data to understand key trends and identifying any action required Coordinating the Graduate programme and the internal mentoring programme. Responsible for employee inductions and ensuring a positive new starter experience A passionate advocate for Cereal Partners culture, bringing it to life in all activities. Leading D&I, engagement & wellbeing activities aligned to the CPW values and promises Managing internal communications & maintaining The Nest (intranet) pages. Actively participating in the ‘Culture Club’ and other employee engagement initiatives. We operate with a centralised employee services team and centre of excellence, so liaising and building relationships with colleagues in central HR will also be a key part of your role. Your career so far will demonstrate a track record in operational HR, and the ability to work as a true business partner. Ideally, you’ll have a commercial HR background, but as a minimum you’ll need to have a proven track record of working within an HR role delivering initiatives that make a real difference to the business.
