We are looking for IT Field Engineers across various locations to support an ongoing nationwide project for a well-known high-street chain. This is a mid to long-term contract running from 3rd March to the end of November, with strong potential for further extensions if desired.
Role Overview:
As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support across multiple retail locations in your designated region. You will be carrying out hands-on IT hardware installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including:
- Site surveys to assess IT infrastructure
- Installation, configuration, and replacement of payment devices (PEDs)
- Counter refreshes and hardware upgrades for POS (Point-of-Sale) systems
- Basic network troubleshooting and connectivity checks
- General IT support for in-store technology
This is a Monday to Friday role, with standard working hours.
