Role Purpose: To deliver high-quality field engineering support across the regions Prison Pin contract, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and fault resolution of voice and data infrastructure within secure environments. The role requires working within prison and court estates, ensuring all work is completed safely, compliantly, and in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver installation, maintenance, and break-fix activities across voice and data infrastructure.
- Undertake structured cabling, socket installation, and patching (voice and data).
- Support fault diagnosis and resolution within SLA requirements.
- Work collaboratively with network and support teams as required.
- Operate safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations, including fire stopping and health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work undertaken and ensure adherence to process and procedure.
- Work within secure environments under escort.
