Field Service Engineer / Break-Fix Engineer — Multiple UK Locations | Flexible Hours (Day & Evening Work Available)

We are looking for reliable and experienced IT Field Service Engineers to join our nationwide team, supporting customer sites across the UK. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll be travelling to client locations to deliver IT break-fix support, installations, upgrades, and general maintenance of hardware. You’ll be the face of our service, so professionalism, technical knowledge, and great communication are key. The role offers variety, independence, and the chance to work across different industries and customer environments.

Responsibilities

  • Attend customer sites to carry out IT break-fix, installations, and upgrades
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Deliver excellent customer service, keeping clients updated throughout
  • Accurately record and report all tasks carried out
  • Work flexibly across day or evening shifts, depending on customer needs

What we’re looking for (Qualifications/Experience)

  • Previous experience in a field-based IT support or break-fix role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and confidence working with IT hardware
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible to travel and support multiple locations
  • Own basic tool kit, safety boots, and hi-vis (essential)
