This is a full-time hybrid role for a Transportation Logistics Manager based in Hertfordshire, with the option for some work-from-home flexibility. The Transportation Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate transportation operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing schedules
  • Tracking shipments
  • Optimizing routes
  • Maintaining compliance with transportation regulations
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external clients to meet business goals

The role will require you to be on site for 4am to be able to route drivers and keep in contact with clients for delivery ETAs. You will be ensuring spreadsheets are up to date and in continuous contact with drivers to ensure that they are running on time.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Transportation Management and Planning to efficiently oversee logistics operations
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to liaise effectively with clients and teams
  • Exceptional Organization Skills to manage schedules, optimize operations, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Proven leadership experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and data analysis tools
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment with strong time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Knowledge of UK transportation regulations is a plus
