The Company: Since 2018, CERAP UK has been dedicated to supporting the UK's nuclear renaissance by leveraging our extensive expertise in the following fields: Project management, Design & engineering (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and civil work, I&C), Qualification test, Radiation Protection.

Main activities:

  • A fantastic opportunity to join and support an international organisation, growing in the UK.
  • Developing of client’s portfolio in the industry sector.
  • Business Development for Radiation Protection Services & Technical Consultancy.
  • Attend conferences and industry events in the UK and abroad.
  • Develop quotes and proposals for potential and existing clients.
  • Create business plans and strategies for radiation protection services and technical consultancy.
  • Client relationship management for new and existing clients.
  • Market research to analyse industry trends, target markets and client needs to develop business strategies.
  • Writing reports and potential bids.
  • Negotiating with stakeholders.
  • Presenting our company to potential clients.
  • Increase client base for both Radiation Protection and Technical Consultancy Services.

Recruitment:

  • Preparing job descriptions and person specification and advertising roles on different job boards.
  • Screening resumes and shortlisting candidates for interviews.
  • Conduct job interviews with potential candidates (face to face/Teams).
  • Recruit qualified and talented candidates.
  • Negotiating salary and employment offers.
  • Identifying hiring needs.
  • Finding and contacting potential candidates on LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Creating a recruitment strategy.
  • Attending job fairs and hiring events.
  • Communicating with hiring managers and partnerships.
  • Creating a positive candidate experience.
  • Ensure SharePoint is up to date.

Consultant Management:

  • Build on the team of consultants and manage their career.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with all consultants.
  • Provide career growth (learning & development).
  • Manage employee performance and disciplinary.
  • Administrative management of employees (leave management, hour records).
  • Discussions with consultants’ managers to discuss career progression and job performance.
  • Attend yearly meetings on consultancy performance with clients.
  • Discuss salary and performance bonuses.
  • Monthly reporting and invoice management.

HR:

  • Manage onboarding new employees.
  • Manage off boarding for existing employees.
  • Process payroll, compensation and benefits.
  • Update documentation and policies.
  • Maintain employee records, including with disciplinary actions.
  • Manage finances and benefits.
  • Business succession planning.
  • Undertaking appropriate security checking of all new starters.
  • Management of visa applications and extensions.
  • Keep track of all probation and contract extensions.
  • Management of all monthly salary reporting and work with finance department.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • You successfully completed a degree in management, Engineering, Business Engineering or equivalent.
  • You are passionate about industrial topics and enjoy contact with people.
  • You have strong communication skills, organisational talent and empathic manner in negotiating.
  • You are dynamic, flexible and have an open personality with a high level of enthusiasm.
  • Appropriate recruitment experience & understanding ideally with engineering and/or nuclear sector.
  • Strong evidence of HR understanding.
  • Strong evidence of recruitment expertise covering both attraction and selection of candidates.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Persuasive, engaging and self-motivated.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.).
