We are seeking a compassionate, organised, and experienced Field Care Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality care in the community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, supporting care staff, and ensuring clients receive safe, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client assessments, reviews, and reassessments in line with care plans
- Supervise, support, and mentor care workers in the field
- Carry out spot checks, supervisions, and observations of care staff
- Ensure care delivery meets regulatory, company, and quality standards
- Act as a point of contact for clients, families, and care staff
- Support onboarding, training, and competency assessments of new carers
- Accurately document visits, reports, and follow-up actions
- Respond to concerns, incidents, or changes in client needs promptly
Previous experience in a supervisory role within health or social care
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A caring, professional, and supportive approach to leadership
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Ideally relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above) [or equivalent] or working towards
