Location: Liverpool and surrounding areas – Crosby, Southport, Ormskirk and Skelmersdale

Start Date: Immediate and September 2026 start dates

FULL TIME/ PART TIME/ CONTRACTS available

Pay – £462 to £550 (weekly) (inclusive of holiday pay)

CER Education are expanding their team of Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools across Sefton and West Lancs as we work in Partnership with Pope Francis Multi Academy Trust Schools. These roles are full time, part time, or flexible short term and you will be working as a 1:1 SEND support or general classroom assistant. You will be supporting pupils across Early Years and KS1 and KS2.

This role will commence immediately after a successful interview and onboarding process which includes references and applying for an Enhanced DBS.

What you’ll need:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or experience of supporting children
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • To be able to support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one – CER can help you apply for one!
