CER Education is recruiting Special Needs (SEND) Teachers to support one of our valued partner schools in Sheffield. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health. The Role
- Support learners with a wide range of needs in a specialist or inclusive setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the curriculum.
- Adapt teaching to meet EHCP targets and individual needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Promote independence, communication, and engagement.
- Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Work closely with support staff and SEND teams.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For
- QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in UK schools (references required).
- Experience teaching learners with SEMH Needs.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education.
