CER Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Art/Design Technology Teacher to work within one of our valued partner schools in Northumberland. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026, with the opportunity for work prior to the summer term for candidates who are available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged, and where you can make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Art and/or Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching Art and/or DT at secondary level
- Be passionate about creative education
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
