I am working exclusively with a large trust within the Malton / Pickering area, that are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Teaching Assistant (TA) to help support students in their primary schools. The role is working on a 1 to 1 basis, working with students with SEN needs. The role starts in September 2026 and will run until the Christmas break in the first instance. They will look to offer permanent positions, depending on staff suitability.
It is essential that you have experience working with children or young adults, within the SEN or care sector. To be considered for this position of Teaching Assistant (TA) / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) you must have:
- Experience of group management of school-aged children;
- Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils;
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and students.
