Pay: £92.59 – £110.24 per day (dependent on experience)

CER Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work across primary schools that are part of the St. Pope Francis Trust based in Sefton, supporting across all key stages. We have both day‑to‑day supply and long‑term roles available from September, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexibility around their availability and career goals.

We offer a competitive day rate of £92.59‑£110.24 per day.

Job responsibilities:
  • Support pupils in the classroom, working 1:1 or with small groups to deliver engaging learning activities.
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities, helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where children can learn and thrive.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to class teachers.
  • Promote positive behaviours and help manage classroom routines, including supervising activities and break times.
Preferred skills:
  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant role or working with children.
  • A relevant qualification in education is desirable.
  • An enhanced DBS on the live update service is required, or willingness to apply for one through CER.
