We are seeking a dynamic and versatile PE Teacher to join our team on a supply basis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality practical sessions across a variety of sports, as well as providing consistent, high-standard teaching for GCSE and BTEC Sport theory classes. Whether you’re covering a single day or a long‑term maternity post, your goal is to inspire students of all abilities to engage with physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
Core Responsibilities
- Practical Delivery: Lead and manage safe, engaging, and inclusive practical lessons across the curriculum (e.g., Football, Netball, Athletics, Gymnastics, and Trampolining).
- Theory Teaching: Confidently deliver classroom‑based lessons for GCSE PE, BTEC Tech Awards, or A‑Level PE, ensuring students remain on track with their coursework.
- Health & Safety: Conduct thorough risk assessments for all activities and ensure all equipment is used correctly and stored safely.
- Inclusion: Adapt drills and activities to ensure students with SEN or physical disabilities are fully integrated into the lesson.
All pay rates provided are inclusive of rolled up holiday pay. Pay will depend on current pay scale; evidence of pay will need to be provided.
